The family took a 3.5 week vacation to Texas in mid July. The first week had me going to CO for the annual backpacking trip. I planned on running in the mtns but the trails were just too technical. I was better off walking more than running them. I did however run once, but only 2 miles.
When I got back to Texas I was able to get some runs in but fell way short of my weekly totals. Part of me was OK with it as I was getting a little burnt out and my feet needed some time to heal from some nasty blisters.
We're back home now and I should get right back on track.
I just regitered for Green Lakes 50k on 8/29. Excited and newvous at the same time.
